TEAVENDOR – FLAWLESS REDESIGN ON BIGCOMMERCE PLATFORM
ABOUT TEAVENDOR
With over 30 years of experience in the tea industry, TeaVendor strives to build a community of specialty tea lovers in the United States by sourcing tea internationally and selling via online and brick-and-mortar channels.
THE CHALLENGE
As a leading distributor of tea in the United States, TeaVendor recognized the need to completely revamp their website and enhance their overall design. The structure and layout of their old website prevented TeaVendor from delivering an optimized user experience, hindering them from maximizing both conversions and sales on their platform. Wanting to market to B2B industries and become a primary supplier of tea leaves to cafes, restaurants, and other businesses, TeaVendor sought to migrate to a platform with powerful B2B functionalities to fulfill their needs and ambitions and deliver an enhanced website experience.
THE APPROACH
BLOG POST TRANSFORMATION
Restructuring the format of blog posts not only enhances their visual appeal for customers, but also enables TeaVendor’s marketing team to update content without heavy coding.
COMPLETE REDESIGN OF ORIGIN DROP-DOWN MENU
The unique “origin” drop-down menu now showcases a beautifully and meticulously crafted list of the eight countries from which TeaVendor sources their tea.
REORGANIZATION OF PRODUCT CATEGORIES
Through an improved product category structure, customers can effortlessly locate the products they desire, elevating the overall search experience on the platform.
THE SOLUTION
TeaVendor partnered with Silk to seamlessly migrate their website to BigCommerce and completely redo and transform their entire website design. Silk’s experts modernized TeaVendor’s website and delivered a beautifully designed website with a brand new look and feel that still seamlessly included all the B2B features and functionality the brand needed. The incorporation of unique features such as an interactive map and highlights on tea origins alongside new featured content blocks for recipes and blog posts significantly enhanced the user experience for TeaVendor’s customers.
