Get RXd is a family-owned business that designs, manufactures, and distributes exercise equipment in traditional gym and club markets. With over 2000 products in its catalog, Get RXd is a leading supplier of functional training, strength, and conditioning equipment. Its ecommerce site was originally built in Magento 1, but with the June 2020 end-of-life date approaching the company needed a new ecommerce platform. Security and site performance were major considerations and Magento 2, with its enhanced security features, including the latest version of PHP, seemed like a logical choice. Magento 2 also greatly improves performance, loading pages in as little as 1.5 seconds. Product detail pages were enhanced to explain the unique features of the equipment.
